ABOUT US
SKIFT [ʃɪft]: We are a theatre company specialising in compositional devising, rediscoveries and interdisciplinary work. We think of SKIFT as a shift of perspective, form or meaning. To move beyond the familiar into a space of new understanding and fluidity. It invites movement, disruption, and new ways of seeing.
Our creative approach is rooted in the concepts of Time and Space. It provides a framework which can be applied to directing, acting and creative processes.

Founder & Co-Artistic Director
Born in South Africa, David is an actor and theatre maker based in London. He studied drama at Exeter University, followed by an Acting MA at Guildford School of Acting.

Founder & Co-Artistic DirectorMarita is a Scandinavian actor and theatre maker based in London. She trained at the Classical Acting Program at LAMDA, and did her MFA in Acting at Guildford School of Acting.
